More About the Drop In Center:
The Community Drop-In Center exists to provide a safe place for people who are in need of food and other essentials while getting indoors, out of the weather. We are open daytime hours during the week as a place to go for resources and respite. It is a place to rest, get a bite to eat and visit with one another. It is a place to experience community. We serve men, women and families, many who are without adequate shelter, as well as anyone in the community that needs some support.
We serve both breakfast and lunch, and we distribute items to help people stay warm like hats, gloves, socks, and hand warmers. Personal care and hygiene items are available for those who need them.
A computer, Wi-Fi, phones, and a place to receive mail help our guests overcome communication struggles. We have a kids’ play area for those who come in with children, and we keep track of and celebrate our guest’s birthdays.
