Be Encouraged

It's a privilege to speak truth into someone's life when they are wrestling with God and wondering where He is in difficulty. One of our clients said "I feel like God is sitting up there, looking down at me and laughing. I know He says He won't give us more than we can handle so He must have a sick sense of humor with my life." For context, this man has been homeless twice, he finally had stability and during COVID the company he worked for shut down.

He moved in with his mom, sister and niece and has since been taking care of them trying to hold the pieces together. They've been without power and water for a month. Their bills are very high as their limited income went to rent to keep a roof over their heads.

We offered some monetary assistance but greater than that, we offered a place for him to get connected through our classes and offered to pray over him. At the end of the prayer he was crying, said thank you and felt encouraged.

"In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world." -John 16:33
