The Power of a Team

During a follow-up, we spoke with a woman who had attended one of our Relational Ministry Classes, "Sandra". "Sandra" has some disabilities and after struggling to sit through class, decided not to go back. We asked if she would like to talk to the Coordinator to figure out an accomodation so she could attend. Excitedly, "Sandra" said yes. She was thrilled to know that we had a solution that could help her.

Athlynn, our Clearinghouse Coordinator called her, worked out a plan with her, and now she will be able to participate. Had we not followed up, she would've floated away. We are so grateful for the volunteers who take the time to love on people in this way! It's truly a team effort.

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another.” —Hebrews 10:24, 25
