GAP Ministry of the Month
The ministry of the month for January will focus on the Kitchen Set Up Ministry. January is a great month to clean out and organize your cupboards. Do you have an extra sauce pan or skillet? How about extra silverware cups or dishes? All items for the kitchen ministry should be dropped off at the 2nd Street Community Church office located at 504 E. First Street. As always, items should be clean, something that you would give to a friend.

Opportunities to serve in the shelter6 more people to join a cleaning team – this is a once a month commitment any day of the week
Make laundry detergent one time or once a month. Recipe available upon request. Make breakfast bags or sack lunch kits one time or once a month. Direction sheets available upon request. Provide basic cell phone service and phones for women in the shelter – this is a 6 month commitment

Pillows, Towels, Wash Cloths and Queen Size Sheets – St. Peter’s Catholic Church Shampoo, Conditioner, Deodorant and Shaving Cream – Northside Community Church Diapers size 2, 3, 4 and wipes –Joyful Servant Lutheran Church Seasoned wood – Newberg Friends Church Twin, Full and Queen Size Mattresses, Box Springs and Frames – Contact Furniture Coordinator Sharon at 503-250-1198 Bike locks –Love INC clearinghouse Tissue Packs, Combs, Chapstick, Hand Sanitizer and dental floss for personal care kits - Grace Baptist
